Yoga Domes: Practice with Others in a Bubble

by Marianne Navada

Yoga studios are struggling. But a Canada-based company found a way to hold yoga classes communally while social distancing. LMNTS outdoor yoga studio offers yoga and fitness events in private heated domes.

Each person gets their own heated dome. At 110 square feet, 7 ft tall and 12 ft wide, it shouldn’t be a problem doing a handstand for most yogis. For added protection, event organizers take client temperatures before arrival and certified cleaners “scrub down” the domes after each use.

Currently, LMNTS has partnered with six yoga studios and their instructors in the greater Toronto area to hold outdoor fitness and yoga events.

What an ingenious way to bring the community together while practicing social distancing.

The More You Know

Normally used for outdoor dining during cooler weather, these pods have taken on a new purpose indeed!
