Apple Unveils Fitness Plus, a Virtual Workout Platform

Apple announced its own subscription-based fitness platform, Fitness+. Members can access workouts virtually (yoga, HIIT, dance, and more), from carefully selected trainers, while tracking metrics.

Fitness+ integrates with the Apple Watch to conveniently track metrics while working out. You can also link to Apple Music for a customized workout experience.

If you want a more social experience and need motivation, the Burn Bar lets you see how you "measure up against other people who have done the workout before".

The pandemic forced us to work more from our screens and do more at home. Tech giants are stepping up to the challenge when it comes to making us move in the comforts of home. More than making devices and software to track movements and monitor our health, FitBit (Google), Amazon Halo, and now Apple produce their own workout sessions.

Subscription: $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr.
