21 Minute Yoga-Inspired Strength and Core

For this 21 minute yoga-inspired strength and mobility workout, you’ll need 2 sets of weights, your light and medium. For me that’s 5 and 10 pounds. I also have a 15 pound kettlebell. t’s not required, but if you have one at home, keep it handy. I recommend this workout, if you’re comfortable with balancing poses such as Warrior 3. There are 21 moves 50 seconds each, 10 second transition. First move is child’pose to lazy up dog and down dog.

Sequence

  1. Child’s pose, up dog, down

  2. Lunge dynamic

  3. Standing side bend

  4. Twist and Reach

  5. Bear with shoulder taps

  6. Twist and Reach

  7. Forearm plank with knee to elbow

  8. One legged bicep curl and Arnold press

  9. Dolphin

  10. One legged bicep curl and Arnold press

  11. Reverse table top

  12. Airplane with lateral raise to standing lateral raise

  13. One-legged dog

  14. Airplane with lateral raise to standing lateral raise

  15. Locust

  16. One legged rows

  17. Camel

  18. One legged rows

  19. Malasana to wild thing

  20. Forward fold

  21. Scissors
