Core + Strength Workout: 10 minutes

This workout combines weights and also bodyweight moves. It’s a full body workout with a focus on the core. I used a set of light dumbbells (5 lbs.).

Choose a target: Each move is 40s active with 20s rest. Aside from time, I set a goal for myself, which I write down below. I usually have higher goals when I lower the dumbbell weights.

The Sequence

  1. Wide legged alt side twists

  2. Alt Down dog lunges

  3. Alt side lunge twist with weights (36x)

  4. Forearm plank twist (10x)

  5. Forearm plank twist (10x)

  6. Side plank on the knees + straight leg crunches (16x)

  7. Side plank on the knees + straight leg crunches (16x)

  8. Hollow back to alt side plank (6x)

  9. Table top + alt toe taps (16x)

  10. Hollow back + shoulder press (30x)
