Chair Pose Variations

  1. Feet together: Common for yoga in the 90s and early 2000s.

  2. Feet apart: a modifcation to feet together and more popular nowadays. Provides a more stable base.

  3. One legged chair. add more balance and challenge and good if you’re learning how to do pistol squat.

In all variations, I tell myself to sit  low but keep the chest and eyes forward, tuck the tailbone, shoulders away from the ears, and hands and arms push back. Last, I remind myself to do my best and forget the rest.
